This brooch was purchased at Michael Morrison's shop on Melrose Avenue in the 1980s. Morrison was an Australian accessory designer who sold other artists work as well.

This piece appears to be by Laeri Nast who went by IRAFA ("I'm A Really Fine Artist"). Unfortunately this pin is not stamped. He started to do that only as he became more established. His work is often described as modernist, surreal, fantasy jewelry. He is known for his aerobic nude figures.

Gold tone nude figure, dark metal window frame, and matte silver drapery. See pics for details on welding marks etc.
